University of Derby
Offered a scholarship to the University of Derby to participate on the American Football Team through my achievements at Baker University. Three other teammates from Baker accompanied me on this journey. This opportunity also allowed me to reignite my passion for playing soccer as well. A sport I had not played competitively in over six years. I trialed for the university soccer team, found a starting position as a centre half on the second team (out of five strong teams in the university program). By the end of the season was promoted to the first team, and asked to be a piece of a local semi-pro team, Mickleover FC.
Baker University
Earned a scholarship to play at Baker University starting in the fall of 2013. As a freshman I earned a starting spot and was the only freshman on offence to do so that year. Was the top Wide Receiver as well as kicker in the conference. Went on to earn first team honours for both Wide Receiver and Kicker. My sophomore year in 2014 I tore my ACL in the first game of the season and was sidelined. In 2015 I came back and was an NAIA 1st-team All-American Wide Receiver. The following year in 2016 my team played for a National Championship (we lost), but that year I was awarded 2nd team NAIA All-American Kicker. My senior, and final campaign in 2017, the first game I broke the NAIA All Time leading points record; finished my career with 669 points, which is second all-time in college American football. Left Baker University with 13 school records.
